We prioritize waste reduction, material reuse, and lower-impact operational choices. This includes:

• Reducing single-use materials
• Transitioning to reusable and recyclable signage
• Eliminating aisle carpet in the exhibit hall
• Walkable lodging options
• Environmentally friendly transportation, and donating usable materials to local nonprofits and libraries.

These decisions are intentional. Conferences can generate significant waste and emissions, and we believe it is our responsibility to minimize that impact wherever possible. At the same time, we aim to create a welcoming, high-quality experience for attendees, exhibitors, and partners.

Sustainability at TLA is not a single initiative, it is an ongoing process. We are developing tools to measure our impact and identify areas for continuous improvement, ensuring that each year builds on the progress of the last.
